The Role: Associate Content Writer

The Associate Content Writer position at Breaktime Media is a role that has a core focus of crafting copy to bring client campaigns, ideas and goals to life through creative writing and ideation. This position works closely with the Lead Content Producer to craft copy and develop rich and engaging content that supports the content needs of the entire organization, including advertising campaigns, editorial content, email marketing, marketing collateral and a wide variety of additional digital content needs.

Responsibilities:

• Write, develop, and build all content elements of client campaigns in content management system
• Adhere to a variety of brand guidelines, styles and voices while writing copy for clients and additional organizational needs
• Present new and innovative ideas and content to internal and external stakeholders
• Manage a large volume of project work within tight deadlines, to meet or exceed milestones while adjusting to reshuffling of priorities
• Work collaboratively with Sales, Client Service, Product, Design and Engineering teams to ensure all campaigns are built to meet clients’ KPIs and objectives
• Diligently process feedback and incorporate changes recommended by the clients and internal stakeholders into final creative
• Assist with the creation of marketing materials, case studies and infographics
• Exhibits an innovative mindset, always seeking ways to evolve and introduce new content offerings

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communication, Journalism, or related discipline
• Excellent written communication and editing skills, with a mind for content innovation
• Experience creating content in a CMS is a plus
• Ability and desire to receive and apply constructive criticism from peers and client
• Extraordinary attention to detail, time management, and organization skills
• Ability to thrive, adjust, and handle large numbers of requests in a constantly changing environment
• Able to work in a team environment as well as individually
• A professional portfolio that demonstrates creative excellence, originality, and branding
• Desire to be a positive contributor to the team and company while helping to move business forward
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Office and Google Docs
