The Airport Technology Specialist will oversee and coordinate all aspects of Airport connectivity, Hardware, and systems. The specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for any support or troubleshooting for Breeze stations to provide the Nicest guest experience in line with the Breeze mission statement: “To make the world of travel simple, affordable, and convenient. Improving our guests travel experience using technology, ingenuity and kindness.”
Here’s what you’ll do
- The core responsibility of the Airport Technology Specialist is to coordinate new airport setups and provide support for existing airports; both onsite and remote.
- Configure deploy and support the Breeze application on to airport common use systems. As well as support existing common use deployments
- Work with the manager of Airport Technology to Plan and coordinate all technology for new station openings including retaining and managing business partners and contractors. Build and manage project plans to ensure on time delivery.
- Coordinate build out of communications and other structured cabling for new facilities including seeking proposals from business partners.
- Coordinate with and support key stakeholders of other departments to ensure requirements are met.
- Troubleshoot peripheral hardware as required.
- Develop relationships with and act as key contact for airport technology business partners.
- Work closely and coordinate with Breeze networking and support groups to provide a seamless team member and guest experience.
- Provide feedback on airport systems and process and identify areas of improvement.

Here’s what you need to be successful
Minimum Qualifications
- Four (4) years of experience in field IT work. Aviation experience a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems engineering, information technology, management information systems, or a related discipline, or an additional two years of training/experience in lieu of this degree.
- Must have authorization to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Self-starter must have a positive attitude and strong desire for success.
- Complete projects on time with minimal supervision, ability to work varied hours when necessary, to meet deadlines.
- Frequent travel required.
