DOCUMENT SPECIALIST - EAST
Our team in Charlotte currently has an opening for a Document Specialist - East
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
- Support updates to Brenntag through 3rd party document portals.
- Coordinate with the document specialists from regional operating companies to ensure customer requirements are addressed.
- Gather, evaluate, organize, manage, and collate information in a variety of formats.
- Work closely with colleagues across other departments to ensure that everyone is completing and submitting the necessary documentation.
- Act as a point of contact for retrieval of specific documentation as required from regional operating companies.
- Coordinate with suppliers/vendors to ensure relevant regulatory and other required documents are obtained to maintain product compliance.
- Review technical data submitted via vendor/supplier documentation.
- Ensure the completion of customer and supplier questionnaires.
Other Functions/Responsibilities:
- Use a variety of specialist computer applications, including third party portals.
- Other duties as assigned
Additional Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to interface and communicate in a professional manner with diverse groups including sales, management, employees, customers, and suppliers.
- Self-motivated and task oriented
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite products
YOUR PROFILE
Education:
- Associates degree or post-secondary education in Science, preferably Chemistry or Biology preferred
Experience:
- 3 years of relevant experience
Essential Functions:
- Sit up to 50% of the day
- Type up to 50% of the day
- Use computer up to 50% of the day
