RETIREMENT SALES COUNSELOR
Duties include contact of potential residents. Presenting Hillcrest in an appealing, knowledgeable manner that encourages the reservation and subsequent move-in to a residence. Contributing to creative and promotional ideas that are integral to the strategic marketing plan. Ability to operate a personal computer, including proficiency in computer software, including Word, Excel, Publisher, use of Mac based products and other computer programs and applications (including internet based programs). Previous experience in retirement community sales preferred. Three (3) years in a direct customer service position required. Valid California driver’s license and insurable by Hillcrest carrier. Engaging in special marketing and sales focused assignments, or tasks under general supervision of the Director of Marketing & Sales.Has a strong understanding of Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE) regulations. Must be able to work cohesively with the sales team, make well-planned presentations to prospective residents/families, community groups, plan and attend marketing events. Must be occupancy focused. Criminal background screening (fingerprinting through the Department of Justice and FBI) completed and free of criminal convictions.
Hillcrest – A Life Plan Community is a not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community located on 40 acres in La Verne, California providing retirement opportunities to seniors that include residential, assisted living, skilled nursing, and dementia care to approximately 400 residents.
