Corporate Controller

We are seeking a seasoned Corporate Controller to join a dynamic technology company in Miami, FL. This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented financial leader with a strong background in financial management and accounting. The Corporate Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing the budgeting and forecasting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger management, financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
- Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, providing strategic insights to support decision-making.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop financial strategies, including cost control and revenue growth initiatives.
- Coordinate external audits and act as the primary liaison with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Oversee cash flow management and working capital optimization to ensure the company’s financial stability.
- Support M&A activities, including financial due diligence and integration of acquisitions.
- Continuously improve accounting processes and financial systems to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Active CPA certification required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in financial management or corporate accounting, preferably within the technology industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with financial reporting and analysis.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience managing accounting teams.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
