Description :
Briar Hall LLC ("Briar Hall") is a full-service private family office.
The Communications and Events Coordinator will support our communication and event management initiatives. This role will report to the Director of Communications and Events and assist with the development and design of effective communications and memorable events that foster engagement, cultural development and the highest standards within the Briar Hall and family.
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and writing skills, as well as a creative and strategic mindset.
You should also have experience in coordinating events and managing projects.
Key Responsibilities :
Communication
- Assist in the development of communication strategies and plans that enhance family member and employee alignment and engagement
- Create initial drafts of communications across multiple platforms
- Support the production and distribution of all communication materials, such as newsletters, brochures, videos, podcasts, etc.
- Research and identify new communication opportunities and trends and propose innovative ideas and solutions
- Assist engagement with the Communications Committee of the board
- Oversee the maintenance of the main family communications portal
Event Planning
- Assist with the coordination of activities for client and team events, including, but not limited to, two annual multi-day client events, monthly and quarterly committee and governance meetings both in-person and off-site
- Develop and maintain an event calendar to plan, execute and support events
- Assist with the event planning, design and production
- Manage all event related deadlines and budgets
