Bridges Health is hiring a Regional Nurse Consultant for the Oklahoma City and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for ensuring consistent quality of care during leadership transitions and hot-shotting issues or situations as directed that require a higher level of expertise and leadership.

Responsibilities and Purpose
- Takes temporary assignments as an interim Director of Nursing, providing relief during absences, vacations, and transitions.
- Audit facility systems and evaluate them for survey readiness, compliance with Medicare requirements, and optimal quality of care for each resident.
- Conduct rounds to evaluate care and offers suggestions or direction to staff to ensure optimal quality of care for each resident.
- Maintain records and schedules of facility visits, including any recommendations, in an orderly manner that is readily accessible to other facility and corporate staff.
- Serve as a support person for facility administrative staff and answers questions or solve problems as requested.
Desired Experience and Education
- Current and unencumbered Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Two (2) or more years of experience in a Long Term Care environment
- A comprehensive understanding of the Medicaid/Medicare programs and extensive knowledge of current federal and state regulations
- Previous experience as a Director of Nursing Services (DON) preferred
