Summary:
Nurses are responsible for implementing nursing services in medical detoxification and residential.
Job Responsibilities (This list is non-exclusive):
Perform intake assessments on all clients
- Obtain vital signs and ongoing assessments on all clients
- Timely, accurate, and complete medical record documentation
- Medication administration following 8 rights of med administration
- Uses clinical judgment to manage the delivery of patient care safely and effectively
- Oral and written communication skills to convey patient progress and needs
- Nursing care plan development and implementation
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation
- Participation in multidisciplinary treatment team
- Provision of in-service education for staff as requested
- Ability to work well with the medical and psychiatric providers and carry out physician's orders
- Adherence to facility policy and procedures, State & Federal law, OSHA compliance, and Joint Commission regulation and standards
- You will also be required to work a minimum of 1 holiday shift per calendar year. Holiday shift requirements are subject to change based on department need

Job Requirements:
- BSN or ASN completed from an accredited school of nursing
- Active RN or LPN license in good standing
- 1-year prior experience in a hospital and/or mental health setting preferred
- Certified BLS provider current or able to obtain within 1 month of hire
- Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Professional appearance, aptitude, and attitude
- Impeccable ethics, integrity, and customer relation skills
- Computer literacy and ability to use an EMR (Kipu)
- Knowledge of "best practices" behavioral medicine treatment delivery and methodologies

- Required competencies: Glucometer, UDS, Pregnancy Tests, Breathalyzer, Vital Signs, and Medication Administration.
Employee Schedule:
As a Part Time nurse, your employment with the company will be based on a 40 hour work week. You will be scheduled to work 24 hours a week and participate in the oncall rotation. This consists of one 3 day weekend or three 24 hour shifts approximately every other month.
On call requirements are subject to change based on department need. The on- call nurse will be required to be available by phone for urgent nursing related questions. The on call nurse all must be available to come to work within 45 minutes of notification for staffing/emergency issues.
You will also be required to work a minimum of 2 holiday shifts per calendar year. Holiday shift requirements are subject to change based on department need.
You will receive an additional 12 hours of base pay for every weekend worked. Both weekend days (Saturday and Sunday) must be worked in order to receive the 12 hours of additional pay. If PTO is submitted for one of the two days the additional pay will still be received as long as the time off request is submitted with a minimum of two weeks’ notice and approved in line with Bridges of Hope’s company policy. If both weekend days are not worked and PTO is not submitted with appropriate notice additional pay will not be provided. If the employee calls off no additional pay will be provided. This position is subject to a shift differential per Bridges of Hope policy for all hours worked on the weekend.
