Position Summary
Responsibilities
- Verifying and maintaining tax resale certificates for all customers in SAP and tax database.
- Staying current with knowledge of tax consultant database Avalara.
- Provides support to Credit Analyst by assisting with processing new applications, pulling reports, gathering information for credit checks and reviews, along with building and maintaining integrity of customer credit files. On occasion will notify appropriate parties of application status including rejection and accepting as well as terms and line established.
- General understanding of company’s credit policies and procedures.
- Any additional support needed from Credit Analyst to provide maintenance for existing accounts.
- Records and enters customer data into the database and answers general inquiries from sales representatives.
- Validates and verifies customer data.
- Assisting Credit Supervisor with any projects or priority requests.
- Any additional “at the time needed” functions deemed necessary by the Credit Supervisor, i.e. pulling files, re-filing completed files, obtaining documents for audits, assisting in other team member's areas/jobs if needed.
- Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Collections experience preferably with commercial accounts.
- Computer experience-proficient, Excel, Outlook, SAP, Sales Force.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Detailed oriented and organized.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal skills, Team Player.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret credit applications, and related information. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from sales representatives, collection agencies, employees, or members of credit reporting groups. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally, and in writing, with sales representatives in all credit matters.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
