JOB DESCRIPTION
Versatile IT Professional supporting end user and plant production technical needs, operates effectively in a team environment and manages own workload effectively. Demonstrates technical knowledge of areas responsible with strong communication, documentation and customer service skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrate a strong customer service orientation and manage workload with minimal supervision
- Respond to incidents, issues, or questions reported by the manufacturing organization
- Troubleshoot desktop hardware and software issues
- Demonstrate well-developed communication skills and maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with BSA IT Operations Infrastructure/Desktop teams and other technology/engineering teammates
- Adhere to technology roadmaps governed by strategic direction, business requirements as well as resourcing and financial constraints
- Evaluate emerging technologies against business and strategic needs
- Provide after-hours support for the manufacturing facility should issues or failures occur that impact production
- Ability to travel to International and Domestic locations
- Leads projects or processes of diverse scope, while working independently with limited supervision
- Supports continuous improvement/automation activities
- Uses advanced analytical/technical problem solving to develop new solutions to existing problems/procedures
- Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4 years of Manufacturing IT/OT experience and BA/BS degree
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 years of Manufacturing IT/Operating Technology experience
- Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) / Instrumentation experience
- Technical Certifications are highly desirable (A , Network , MSCE)
- IFS Software experience
- Ability to support 24/7 production environment

- Desktop Support including thin client and virtualization and servers
