We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join the team! As the Accounting Manager, you will be performing a variety of duties including overseeing our accounting and financial operations. You will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, assisting with audits, and budgeting processes, and reconciling accounts. As the Accounting Manager, you will work closely with other members of the accounting department to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Reports To: General Manager and CFO
This is a seasonal, hybrid role. (3-4 days off--site, 1-2 days on site) Required on-site training.

Essential Duties
- Oversee all accounting and financial operations of the hotel, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, cash management, and financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Able to interpret accounting principles, extract information, and perform arithmetic functions.
- Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and financial projections.
- Able to use repetitive hand and body motions such as grasping, writing, typing, listening, hearing, and visual acuity.
- Able to sit, stand, and use a computer for prolonged periods of time.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and ensure that financial goals are met.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and month end account reconciliations, including reconciliation for cash, prepaids, and accrued expenses.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee all journal entries for accrued expenses, prepaid expenses, and payroll.
- Oversee the Accounts Payable process, ensuring invoices are paid on a timely basis and records are accurately maintained.
- Establish, document, and maintain Standard Accounting Policies and Procedures and internal controls.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field with at least 3 years of related experience.
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles; (GAAP) preferred.
- M3 experience a plus!
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Strong PC skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and financial accounting systems.
