We are looking for a Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team and provide quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in geriatrics, hospice and palliative medicine, and other areas of nursing. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering medications, providing treatments, and monitoring patient progress. We are looking for an individual who is dedicated to providing the highest level of care and is passionate about helping others.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Assist in the development of patient care plans and evaluate patient progress.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Educate patients and their families about health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Perform basic nursing procedures such as wound care, catheter insertion, and specimen collection.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN, Per diem
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
