Job Summary of Lead Materials Specialist:
Performs material coordination activities using learned disciplines to adhere to customer requirements, including traceability and documentation standards. Acts at the subject matter expert for materials management and inventory activities with minimal supervision and demonstration of strong reasoning skills. Ability to be a strong role model to strive for consistency and process adherence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Advanced level kitting and staging materials for production according to due date and/or shop load need.
- Verifies materials, drawings and documentation against customer requirements as necessary.
- Sorting and distributing incoming jobs to appropriate destinations for Bridgeways and other CMP suppliers located within the hub.
- Receives consigned material from customers and vendors
- Receiving and Restocking of standard parts and wire spools upon receiving and within 24 hours
- Ships complete orders according to due date and/or customer needs. Works with area supervisors and managers to determine short flow schedules and or expedited shipping needs.
- Prepares and completes shipping documentations such as Packing List, CoC’s. This includes gathering customer signatures as required and scanning and routing to accounting department when necessary.
- Notifies and coordinates with customers part shortages and estimated arrival times of materials. Works within the receiving department to properly document information when necessary and notify departments and staff internally.
- Operate forklift to load/unload materials from trucks and move large materials within the building, within entry level expectations.
- Perform Inventory of standard parts and pull cards and reorder material, this includes, standards, details, etc.
- Performs receiving inspection of customer supplied and vendor supplied parts. Completes proper documents such as Nonconformance reports when discrepancies are found.
- Delivery of finished product to customers in the Puget Sound area. Pick-up of supplies and work for Bridgeways. In addition, this position will operate and maintain transportation vehicles with a focus on safety and customer courtesy. Ability to plan out deliveries and pick-ups based on customer needs while adhering to the ‘bus schedule’ set in place
- Operates assigned vehicle in a safe and courteous manner. Maintains defensive driving.
- Provides a communication link between customers and Bridgeways.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving and materials experience.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to organize, multi-task, problem solve and perform job duties with minimal direct supervision.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Washington State Driver’s License Required. Requirement to pass Background check in accordance with Customer Guidelines and Requirements. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Entry level skills and knowledge with PC and Microsoft Suite. Preferred ERP experience.
