We are seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team!

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Solicit and develop a wide variety of mortgage loans.
  • You’ll spend a significant amount of time on outside sales activities developing strong referral sources.
  • You’ll develop knowledge of company products, services, policies, procedures, and underwriting requirements in order to provide mortgage solutions to our clients.

Who You are:

  • You have at least 2 years of mortgage lending origination experience.
  • Experience with FHA, VA, Fannie Mae, etc.
  • Knowledge of residential lending, processing, credit analysis and mortgage regulations.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory mortgage lending requirements.
  • Must be in good standing under "The Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008" (Safe Act) and must be registered/licensed with the "Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry"; or must be able to be registered under the Safe Act. Must remain in good standing under the Safe Act.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical office setting.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines and adding machines.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk, hear, sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, manual dexterity and reach with hands and arms. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. Proper lifting techniques are required. This position may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
