Your Role as a BCBA at Bright Care ABA:
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst at Bright Care ABA, you'll be a pivotal member of our clinical staff, responsible for:
- Conducting initial and ongoing in-home client assessments to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Creating, managing, and evaluating programs designed to address behavioral excesses and deficits, fostering the development of functional skill repertoires.
- Overseeing and fine-tuning ABA programs, regularly assessing their performance and making necessary adjustments.
- Providing valuable ABA training to parents and other caregivers, empowering them to be an active part of the therapeutic process.
- Taking on the role of guiding and supervising paraprofessionals, ensuring the delivery of top-notch care.
- Managing electronic data on client progress using our state-of-the-art Catalyst program.
- Embracing additional duties as needed to make a meaningful impact.
Qualifications We Seek:
- Current BCBA and LBA certifications, backed by at least 1 year of hands-on, home-based ABA experience.
- A Master's Degree in ABA or a related field such as Special Education, Child Psychology, etc.
- Proficiency in conducting and interpreting a variety of clinical assessments, including VBMAPP, AFLS, ABLLS, ADOS-2, and more.
- Demonstrated clinical competence and sound judgment, complemented by the ability to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Proficiency in training and supervising paraprofessionals in the delivery of 1:1 ABA services.
- The knack for building strong, supportive relationships with parents and caregivers.
- Respect for cultural diversity and the adaptability to tailor ABA procedures to different backgrounds.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an acute attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and management capabilities.
- A willingness to accept supervision and guidance, with a commitment to addressing identified deficits or weaknesses.
