As the Music Therapist, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with our care teams to contribute to that mission. These passionate team members will depend on you to provide music therapy or vigils to patients, their families, and the caregivers at Brighton Hospice.
On an average day, you will
- Provide music therapy to patients and their families, considering individual needs (patient age, physical limitations, communication deficits, and cultural background)
- Attend interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings to build and maintain Brighton working relationships and support the best care for patients
- Accept referrals for vigils on a case-by-case basis
- Provide periodic in-services to the hospice clinical team
- And perform additional, related duties as needed

Qualifications
Desired Skills/Qualifications
- Are passionate about providing the best possible care to patients and their families
- Excited at the idea of doing work that makes a difference while enjoying the perks of a great work/life balance
- Have experience providing music therapy for hospice patients and families
- Have a bachelor's degree in music performance or pedagogy; or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Can travel within territory (valid driver's license, auto insurance)
- And are excited to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families
