Financial Analyst

Job Description

Analyst Duties:

• Develops and reports regularly on key financial indicators for our manufacturing operations
• Support the Business Unit manager by improving financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances and recommending actions to senior leadership
• Responsible for creating and improving financial models, forecasting, and budgeting
• Various ad-hoc reporting and analysis to all business segments pertaining to finance and accounting

Account Payable/Receivables Duties:

• Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Prints and distributes signed accounts payable checks as required.
• Maintain accounts payable/receivable reports, spreadsheets and other files.
• Uses office-automated systems to input data, generate reports, conduct specialized research projects and respond to inquiries.
• May maintain a complete and systematic set of transactions in a specific phase of accounting.
• Proven ability to work with Supply Chain Management and Customer Sales on matching and other discrepancies

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business-related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience using ERP system in a heavy inventory based environment preferred.
• Strong quantitative analytical skills. Proficient/super user of Microsoft tools including Excel and PowerBI preferred
• US GAAP knowledge
• Self-Starter and drive to learn
