Job Description: Plumbing and Piping Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Plumbing and Piping Specialist to join our team. This role involves working on diverse projects, from single-story buildings to 30-story high-rises, including medical, institutional, and industrial facilities. You will be responsible for installing high-quality plumbing systems using Pro-press and conventional connections, handling tasks such as underground piping, chilled and hot water systems, condenser water piping, steam systems, and process piping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Maintenance: Execute installation and maintenance of various plumbing and piping systems in compliance with industry standards and codes.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation of plumbing systems.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and practices, maintaining a safety-conscious work environment.
• Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including submittals, time sheets, and daily reports, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Collaboration: Work independently and collaboratively within a larger team, fostering effective communication and teamwork.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain a strong focus on quality and attention to detail in all tasks.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing: Valid Connecticut driver’s license and relevant trade license (P1 or P2).
• Certifications: Must possess or be willing to obtain OSHA 10/30 certification.
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and trade materials, tools, and methods.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Integrity: Honest and driven by a commitment to ethical standards.
• Reliability: Must have reliable transportation to job sites.
