We are currently looking for a Manager, Netex Operations to join our growing Finance team! In this role, you will report directly to the Director, Financial Operations. As Manager, Netex Operations, you will be responsible for the accounting, payment and planning of network costs incurred with other telecom service providers. You will manage a team of two analysts and work with a 3rd party software application to audit, dispute as necessary, and authorize payment of these network costs. You will analyze cost trends and regularly interact with Accounting and FP&A personnel. You will be responsible for managing the Analysts and training departmental staff as needed. As Manager, Netex Operations, your duties will include:
- Ensure carrier billings are processed timely assuring proper accounting, rate accuracy and existence of circuits. Identification and resolution of disputes
- Work with accounting related to monthly accruals and FP&A related to forecasted costs
- Become proficient with third party software and maintain professional relationship with vendor
- Work with IT to resolve any issues between third party software and SAP
- Manage scope, resources, schedule, and expectations
- Communicate/report frequently to stakeholders and team members
- Manage business risks and develop contingency and/or mitigation plans as necessary
- Facilitate issue resolution and escalate issues that cannot be resolved in the team
- Work with Director on other projects
WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
- 5 years of experience in related area as an individual contributor and 1-3 years of supervisory experience
- Experience with SAP
- Proficient with Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Has experience dealing with vendors, and dispute resolution
- Attention to detail and excellent analytical capabilities to break down complex ideas into simple & manageable segments, troubleshoot data issues, and see issues to resolution
