Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces for residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of various landscaping techniques and the ability to operate both power and hand tools.
Duties:
- Perform garden maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, and weeding
- Provide tree care services including trimming, removal, and disease treatment
- Conduct groundskeeping activities such as mowing, edging, and leaf removal
- Operate power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and chainsaws
- Utilize hand tools to build and repair landscape features
- Assist with snow plowing and ice removal during winter months
- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants
- Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects on time
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of garden and landscape maintenance techniques
- Proficiency in tree care practices and equipment operation
- Experience in groundskeeping tasks including lawn care and leaf removal
- Familiarity with operating power tools such as lawnmowers and trimmers
- Ability to effectively use hand tools for building and repairing landscape features
- Knowledge of snow plowing techniques and equipment operation
- Understanding of irrigation systems and their maintenance requirements
