Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
The Tool Room Administrator assists the Tool team with day to day operations. This can include processing invoices, pick tickets, transfers, shipments, filing necessary documents, and other duties as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Assists shop with daily duties and tasks
- Work orders for tool room technicians
- Filing
- Recordkeeping
- Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with co-workers
- Customer and personal service
- Create, maintain, and enter information into databases.
- Use computers for various applications, such as database management or word processing.
- Operate office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, or phone systems
- Assists with vendor and customer relations
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Attend weekly safety meetings
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Must wear personnel protective equipment (i.e. Hard hats, safety glasses, safety harnesses as required) and respirators when required.
- Ability to work 8 hours per day, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
- This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
- The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.
- The worker is sometimes subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS – (THE EMPLOYEE SHOULD BE ABLE TO PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS WITH OR WITHOUT REASONABLE ACCOMODATIONS):
- Reaching. Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
