Brinks Capital: We have a challenging opportunity for an Analyst.
Job Summary:
The Analyst is responsible for the successful and timely completion of daily tasks around reporting on team performance, numerous operational functions and document business requirements. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to document business requirements.
This position reports directly to the President, Brink’s Capital, LLC and will have high visibility to the Executive Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partners with Development and Quality Assurance staff to resolve issues reported by customers
- Provides analysis in support of IT, the Brink’s Capital business and operations, security, quality, and application support
- Effectively interacts with peers to management-level professionals across all support functions for Brinks Capital and all sister companies within the Brink’s umbrella of companies.
- Proactively seeks to identify, communicate, and help implement process-related improvements based on analysis of data
- Effectively manages multiple tasks and activities concurrently and is able to provide periodic status updates to key stakeholders
- Collaborates extensively with peers and management while actively contributing to a growing knowledge network that improves the effectiveness of team and the information available to clients
- Financial acumen and the ability to put together a business case
- LEAN experience a plus
- Prior experience documenting business requirements a plus.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 2 years of analytics experience
- Minimum of 2 years identifying system/process failures
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or certifications, MBA preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge Microsoft suite of applications
Knowledge/understanding of pulling reporting and analyzing data from IT systems
- In depth knowledge of Power BI (or other big data tools) and Excel
- Basic knowledge of installation/configuration of peripheral equipment (printers/scanners, etc)
- Business and financial acumen
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, statistics or related field
Professional Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills
- Solid problem solving abilities
- Logical thinker, step oriented problem solving
