R&D/QC Technician
Job Description
A R&D/QC Lab Technician will conduct routine analyses of product samples, raw materials, container/closure sets, and experimental products. In this role, they will utilize ion chromatography, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and other standard laboratory techniques to analyze chemical compounds. They will also test samples for quality control purposes and perform routine stability testing.

Duties & Responsibilities Skills & Qualifications
- Prepare compounds, test solutions and reagents to conduct tests and experiments.
- Use IC, FTIR, and other analytical equipment to analyze chemical samples
- Test chemical samples for quality control and batch/lot release
- Test, inspect, and evaluate incoming raw materials and good according to internal quality methods
- Follow testing schedules for routine analysis
- Execute stability testing program for full suite of products
- Monitor our inventory of consumables and reagents
- Perform or schedule instrument maintenance and calibration
- Bachelor’s degree is chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or closely related field
- Understanding and experience using a wide array of analytical techniques – specifically ion chromatography
- Experience with EPA/FDA quality protocols and testing

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
