General Description:
The Overhaul Critical Spares Coordinator's primary role is material planning, procurement and coordination activities while interacting with the Overhaul Project Support position, Rotating Equipment Engineering team, Inventory Specialist, Warehouse Specialist, and assigned Customer base. This role also is responsible for receiving, inspecting, loading, tagging, staging, and issuing warehouse materials.
This position will be responsible for driving CCI's Mission, Vision, and Values, a crucial part of the strategic plan to drive success. CCI's mission is to provide quality-driven, cost-effective construction, maintenance, industrial cleaning, power generation, and transportation services to support resource development companies.

  • Reporting and addressing all potential safety concerns/incidents/issues promptly and willingly participate and assist in any investigation that may relate to a safety incident.
  • Processes purchase orders for Repair & Return material related to testing equipment, calibration equipment, overhaul parts, instrumentation, and electrical equipment.
  • Creates Purchase Orders to procure material for assigned client base, to include soliciting budgetary quotes and gaining any purchase approvals.
  • Logs purchase requests received from customer base in Client's tracking software.
  • Files and distributes copies of material purchase requests to appropriate clients. Relying mostly on e-mail.
  • Coordinates and /or completes material shipping and expediting requirements.
  • Assists with logistical issues to target on time delivery with minimum cost
  • Provides detailed material status reports to customer base as required.
  • Assists in the timely resolution of problems occurring in the procurement process, as identified by OSD&D's, suppliers, or customers.
  • Understands Client warehousing processes and locations, including special handling and storage requirements for chemicals and oversized items.
  • Takes direction from Hilcorp Overhaul Crew team members daily.
  • Possesses a strong desire to learn, highly self-motivated, takes initiative, and willing to take directions
  • Receiving and offloading all major rotating equipment components
  • Operates, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other various pieces of equipment.
  • Performs all requested tasks professionally and in a reasonable time frame.
  • Reviews work prior to start and has materials and tools on hand to achieve high levels of productivity
  • Sustains a well-kept and orderly site in the performance of all work duties
  • Works within a team environment to assist other personnel in accomplishing tasks and major projects
  • Performs general shop duties such as inspect and clean tools, clean sweep shop, and maintain shop equipment.
  • Complete all applicable record keeping and documentation for the client as well as state & federal governmental regulatory agencies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to clearly speak, write, read and understand the English language.
  • Knowledge of field instruments, control room instruments, computers, and start-up.
  • Ability to follow written directions, plans, and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to follow CCI Industrial Services, client safety programs, and regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines as they relate to this position and the work duties being performed.
  • Ability to prepare reports and correspondence as required.
  • Ability to plan and organize workload.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and competing demands simultaneously.
  • Ability to establish and maintain a positive rapport and strong working relationship with co-workers and client representatives.

Position may involve exposure to extremely hostile weather conditions at times while working outdoors. This position may involve working with potentially hazardous materials and waste.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on-site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud.

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. A pre-hire post offer Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) will be conducted to determine an employee's ability to perform to the job standard. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • MOBILITY: Must be able to access all controls and all parts of machinery for service. Must be able to push/pull 50 pounds for 20 feet.
  • HEARING: Must be able to hear audible safety alarms.
  • VISUAL ACUITY: Must be adequate to perform above listed tasks in a safe manner and take hand signals from ground man or flag man.
  • LIFTING: Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist, 50 pounds from wait level to shoulder height and carry 50 pounds for 20 feet.
  • RANGE OF MOTION: An objective range of motion measurement will be conducted and recorded using a five position and rapid exchange grip strength test during the pre-hire/post offer FCE.

Requirements: Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Competent to operate forklifts, pallet jacks as required.
  • NSTC Certification.
  • 3 years of Maintenance, Turnaround, Construction, Planning or Scheduling. experience in an industrial setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, such as Word and Excel, and can learn new systems quickly.
  • Ability to clearly speak, write, read, and understand the English language.
  • Ability to apply basic mathematical skills.
  • Able to follow written directions, plans, and blueprints.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP and Ariba.
  • Familiarity with scheduling programs such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Projects.
  • Pipeline construction, Inspection, Maintenance experience in craft or supervision roles.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas Facility Operations with knowledge of production systems and equipment.
  • Familiarity with Greater Prudhoe Bay Facilities and Pipelines.
