As the National Clinical Nurse Educator, you will partner with our Vice President of Quality and our clinical teams to further that mission. These passionate teams will depend on you to create and implement clinical education and training programs to meet the learning and development needs of our clinical staff and to be a reliable go-to problem solver. The work hours are Monday-Friday (8a-5p).

On an average day you will:
Design, implement and evaluate programs that meet the learning and competency development needs of clinical staff in order to meet the standards required to obtain CEUs for RNs and CNAs
Respond promptly to changes (regulatory and corporate) in clinical practice and provide the training required to implement those changes
Ensure compliance and documentation of educational programs based on regulatory agency standards
Review and update the clinical preceptor education programs for all members of the interdisciplinary team
Submit CEU and CE provider applications for all disciplines and all Bristol Companies
Develop, implement, and monitor the effectiveness of orientation/training/cross-training programs that are based on an assessment of individual skills and evaluated by clinical competency outcome criteria
Collaborate with leadership to improve quality and efficiency and maintain regulatory compliance throughout the continuum of clinical care
Perform special projects as directed by the VP of Quality
Qualifications
Enthusiasm for providing the best possible care to patients and their families
3 years of experience as a professional nurse within the last five years or have a baccalaureate degree in nursing from a program accredited by the National League of Nursing
2 years of experience with in-service education and staff development in a clinical setting
Current RN license
A valid drivers license with an automobile in good working order that is properly registered and insured
Excellent observation, verbal, and written communication skills
The ability to travel 50-70% of the time, often without notice
Proof of applicable vaccinations
Flexibility in your working schedule
And additional related duties as needed
