What are the responsibilities and job description for the Communication Specialist / Content Creator position at Bristow Group, Inc.?
This position creates content designed to motivate, inspire, inform, and persuade internal and external audiences and builds alignment and awareness of company strategy, vision, mission, and values. This person will help create and author content for various deliverables including company brochures, social media, intranet, talking points, messages, presentations, speeches, etc.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop content to support internal and external communication strategies and plans designed to align, motivate, and inform internal and external audiences.
Create, maintain, and manage editorial calendar for internal communications including daily news section of company intranet.
Write and edit a wide range of content such as internal news items and feature stories for internal and external communication vehicles and special publications, including Bristow's intranet portal, company newsletters, external website, etc., to ensure Bristow employees are informed and up to date on strategic initiatives
Working with the Communications manager, author talking points, key messages, executive messages, etc.
Develop narrative for company brochures, web pages, recruitment material, etc.
Engage and collaborate with employees at all levels and across all regions to develop content on key initiatives and successes. This includes conducting interviews and obtaining photos.
Proactively contribute to increasing employee engagement globally through creative and interactive strategies that align, connect and inspire employees.
Collaborate with Safety to develop news items on key initiatives for the Portal.
Support executive communications, including scripting, talking points and messages.
Execute special projects as directed by department head.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in field of Professional Writing, Communications or Marketing
7 years of experience as a corporate communications specialist, writer, internal communications specialist, journalist, or content creator; and message development in a corporate setting
Excellent writing and editing skills
Experience in producing content for intranet, newsletters, magazines, web pages, etc.
Strong project management skills
Knowledge of internal communications best practices and policies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
