The Senior Recruiter is an integral part of the Recruiting Team. They will interface directly with external candidates and key internal stakeholders. They will drive recruitment from creating the requisition, driving candidates to apply, interviewing and screening, scheduling of department interviews through the pre-hire process. Additionally, this person will be responsible for the Visa process for Guyana and Suriname and making sure employees have proper entry requirements satisfied. After new hires are onboarded, this role will handle certain HR Generalist responsibilities including employee relations, maintaining the FAA’s Pilot Record Database, internal investigations, benefit and other pay policy inquires and situations. The role requires the support of our internal clients and external candidates; it requires flexibility, exceptional client service, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Furthermore, the position demands superior collaborative abilities, possession of a keen sense of urgency and the ability to juggle multiple priorities seamlessly. Establishing strong working relationships with key stakeholders through the coordination and scheduling of candidate interviews will be a significant component of this role. This will include attaining the various availabilities and providing scheduling resolution where required. Essential Functions: Develop and execute recruiting strategies that are designed to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools (direct sourcing, diversity initiatives, social media etc.) Recruit both active and passive candidates Ability to handle high volume workload Will lead offsite recruiting events and expos Lead recruiting efforts at schools, colleges, and universities Offer creative solutions to recruiting obstacles and process change Work with internal departments to schedule interviews and gather feedback to provide to candidates Excellent sourcing, selection, negotiation, and communication skills Demonstrated ability to manage confidential processes and documents Demonstrated problem-solving skills and team building skills Strong networking and referral building skills Working with recruiting agencies when appropriate Work with HRBP to deliver New Hire Orientation Develop ongoing recruiting and hiring metrics Qualifications 5-7 years full life cycle recruiting Ability to function in a high-volume fast paced work environment Proficient knowledge and demonstrated results using recruitment technology (i.e. LinkedIn Recruiter, Facebook, database mining, social media and military) Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint Detailed knowledge working inside a high level ATS or HRIS Key Competencies: Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy. Analytical ability is required to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems and prioritize work.
