the Agile Operations Division (AOD) unit of Broadcom within the Clarity Engineering Team. As a Senior QA Engineer Clarity Quality team member, you will be part of a fast-paced scrum team delivering value for customers. Working closely with Developers and Product Managers, you will leverage, grow your knowledge and creativity to design effective functional test solutions (manual and automated). You will be part of a team that will have significant product impact.
Responsibilities
First and foremost, you are an engineer and full stack tester (Data-Services-UI) and solve problems through automation
Work with the team to add and refine acceptance criteria and the definition of done for user stories
Creation and review of Test strategies, Test designs, Test cases and Test Automation suites
Work closely with multi-site team of developers, testers, support to coordinate and execute test activities
Find defects and work directly with the team to create fixes and validate new tests
Creating and running automated tests to enable continuous integration and continuous deployment
Ability to understand technical specifications and analyze log files
Ability to translate use cases and/or technical specifications into test cases
Ongoing education and learning of new programming techniques and technology

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field a minimum of 8 years of related QA experience is required
At least 5 yrs quality assurance experience in Agile Development environments
5 years of strong, demonstrable experience working as an QA engineer
3 years of experience developing high quality test strategies and test automation
2 years of experience with Java, Javascript, Python, etc.
2 years of experience with automation testing frameworks
Clarity experience preferred
Test automation experience with REST using Python/Java/Perl etc
UI automation experience with Protractor, Selenium
Strong knowledge of various types of testing such as functional, negative, boundary, performance, scale, longevity testing, etc.
Test experience with enterprise systems in Windows and Linux environments
Experience with performance testing (Blazemeter preferred)
Experience working in CI/CD environment
Thorough understanding of QA methodologies, life cycle and processes

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $106,800- $178,000
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
