Salary Range: $16.50- $19.80 per hour

Education and Experience:
- Six Months experience as a Barista preferred not required.
- Must possess effective communication skills that are compatible with all levels of the customers we serve.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to change.
- Maintain a good rapport with the customers we are serving during all events.
- General knowledge of sanitation, safety, and proper food handling procedures.
- General knowledge of weights & measures
- Must possess the knowledge of proper lift techniques (no single item over 50 lbs.)
- Must possess the ability to follow instructions, work well with others, and maintain a good rapport with residents, staff, and guests
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability of multitasking while taking orders
- Detailed oriented
- Must possess the ability to work independently, given proper training and direction
Essential Duties: 1. Welcoming and greeting customers and efficiently determining their needs and interests 2. Explain and educate customers about different coffee products by explaining, presenting and demonstrating the operation of brewing equipment. 3. Maintains the appearance of the Corner Cupboard, restoking shelves, cleaning, sweeping, dusting and mopping as needed. 4. Responsible for the rotation of stock and the removal of all outdated products 5. Assists with pricing of products, including bar coding 6. Serving prepared foods such as cakes, biscotti, muffins or bagels. 7. Slicing vegetables, fruits, meats or desserts for use in food service. 8. Setting up and restocking product displays. 9. Taking customer orders and conveying to other employees for preparation. 10. Maintain required records and receipts and ensure proper handling of all cash. 11. Follows all safety and sanitation rules and regulations. 12. Responsible for stocking using the FIFO procedure. 13. Responsible for properly taking and recording temperatures. |
