Therapist - OPT Morehead

Job Description: Broadstep Behavioral Health Inc. is seeking a Licensed Clinician/Outpatient Therapist to serve as the leader of our treatment team that provides direct clinical care to adults and children in our community based and in-home care programs in North Carolina. This position works closely with other clinical members of a defined team and serves an integral role in the treatment of patients in the behavioral health continuum.   About the Company:   Broadstep has been a leader in providing a continuum of physical, emotional, and mental support for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), mental illness, and co-occurring disorders for over 45 years. Broadstep’s North Carolina services include a wide array of mental health and substance use programs and services.  The services provided are community-based, outpatient therapy, and crisis services to serve people where they are.    North Carolina programs are CARF accredited and are focused on the concept of whole person care and wellness.    Go to https://www.broadstep.com/ to learn more about the company.     Location: Morehead City, NC     Job Type:  (Onsite/Clinic) This role is not eligible for remote work.  Job Duties:   Complete Comprehensive Clinical Assessments  Referrals to appropriate services within and outside of the agency  Individual therapy with clients aged 5 and older and utilizing evidence based practices    Required Education/Experience:  Graduate degree in Counseling or a related field Minimum 2 years’ experience working with individuals with mental and/or behavioral health issues that include writing person-centered plans, conducting effective group therapy and providing mental health diagnoses Strong Documentation Skills    Ability to Analyze Detailed Information Strong Verbal Communication Skills Supervisory Experience Preferred    Required License/Credentials:    LCSW, LSCW-A, LCMHC, LCMHC-A , LMFT or Licensed Psychologist    What We Offer/Benefits:    Dayforce Wallet: early access to the money you’ve earned from hours you’ve already worked, before payday!
