PCA 2nd shift PART TIME

Are you a Highschool student or a retired caregiver looking for up to 25 hours a week? We're looking for some part time caregivers to help with dinner and getting our residents to bed of an evening. Perfect hours for students in school! shifts available are 3pm-7pm, 4pm-8pm, OR 5pm-9pm

Duties:

- Provide direct support and personal care to individuals in a home care setting.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting and positioning individuals.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and ensure a safe environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the individual's living space.
- Accompany individuals on outings or appointments as needed.
- Document daily activities, observations, and any changes in behavior or health.

Experience:

- Previous experience in personal care or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques is a plus.
- Must have reliable transportation.

Pay:

• pay is determined based on experience starting at $8.50/ hour
• there is an hourly incentive as well ranging from $1.50-$2.00
