Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing outpatient Women’s Health/OBGYN medical center team! This RN position will provide the qualified candidate the opportunity to grow/advance there career, while having the support of a friendly, professional team of dedicated healthcare professionals.

- Location: Mount Kisco, NY
- Department/Specialty: OBGYN/Women’s Health
- Schedule: Monday – Friday (40 hours per week), no weekends or holiday’s
- Pay: $40.00 - $70.00/ hour (Depending on Experience & Education)
Job Responsibilities:
- Assesses and monitors changes in the physical and psycho/social needs of patients utilizing the nursing process
- Administers and documents all medications including IV therapy
- Assist with routine checkups, administer, or offer advice on birth control, administer vaccines/injections, such as the HPV vaccine.
- Collect blood, urine, or other samples.
- Assist with pelvic exams or pap smears as well as the entire labor and delivery process and mothers with breastfeeding.
- Prepares the patient for and assists exams, procedures, and treatments
- Educates and counsels patient with provisions for follow-up
- Patient charting is entered into the EMR accurately and in a timely manner
- Provides clinical direction to the support staff (LPNs, Medical Assistants)
- Contacts the patient by telephone to provide requested follow-up, advise them of test results or relay a physician's instructions.
- Instructs the patient and family on how to perform physician recommended preventive care, take prescribed medication, prepare for tests, monitor treatment progress, and note symptom changes.
- Obtains the patients history and basic medical data when needed
Qualifications
- New York RN License
- ASN (required) / BSN (preferred)
- 1- 2 years of experience in OB /GYN or Women’s Health (highly preferred)
- BLS (required) / ACLS (preferred)
