Hi! We are currently looking for an Registered Nurse to join the out patient team in Cortlandt Manor, NY!
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm
Department: Orthopedics
Pay: $40.00 - $70.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for managing the individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members in the orthopedics department; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current license in good standing in New York.
- BLS preferred.
- Orthopedics experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Performing physical assessments and therapeutic and diagnostic procedures
- Discharge planning and coordinating patient care with other members of the interdisciplinary health care team
- Monitoring neurovascular status
- Performing external fixation care, casting and continuous motion therapy
- Administering treatments and medications
- Providing post-operation care
- Helping patients with therapy and providing assistance for faster recuperation
- Providing leadership, motivation and clinical expertise in the management
- Navigates an orthopedic patient from the diagnostic phase through the treatment and follow-up phases, assuring patient has appropriate/timely medical/supportive services
- Facilitates optimal length of stay and appropriate utilization of care facility resources
