Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Brookdale at Home Agency Leader provides direct care to client, which reflects Brookdale’s philosophy and standards of non-skilled home care. Assists in meeting the client’s individual needs while treating the clients with respect and dignity.

Qualifications
Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), and three to six months related experience and/or training preferred.
Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special RequirementsIn accordance with state law, must possess current state certification or state specific required training and provide proof of required training. Will follow regulations to maintain current certification and/or training requirements. Reliable transportation. Must have a valid state identification card and a valid driver’s license is preferred.
Management/Decision MakingMakes standard and routine decisions based on detailed guidelines with limited independent judgment. Problems are generally solved with clear, detailed guidelines or by reporting them to a supervisor.
Knowledge and SkillsHas a basic level of a skill and can follow written or verbal instructions. Has basic technical skills to complete a few repetitive and well-defined duties. Has a basic knowledge of the organization in order to answer basic questions. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively in English with patients, family members and other associates of the company. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and/or oral form. Uses good judgment in emergency situations, and seeks assistance when needed.
