Part-time Middle School Director

Middle School Director
Approximately 10 Hours/Week, Wednesday Evenings and Sundays
Compensation based on Education & Experience

Purpose
To serve the mission, values & vision of Brooklake Church through the development of our Middle School Ministry. To lead our church’s efforts to minister to youth at Brooklake and the broader community. The ideal candidate has significant experience ministering to students, as well as experience coaching/leading staff and volunteers.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Organized, self-motivated and loves to have fun.
• Recruit, develop and train high quality leaders for current and new roles.
• Build teams volunteers and students and empower them as leaders.
• Relationally invest in the leadership development of Middle School volunteers and students.
• Promote and model participation in church-wide initiatives and events such at outreach events,

Worship Nights, Baptism Sunday’s, House Churches, etc.

• Develop a process/team to actively follow up with every student guest at a service, event, etc.
• Oversee and run Brooklake Middle School social media account.
• Organize and oversee Student Conferences/Retreats.
• Develop and oversee implementation of policies and enforce compliance.
• Develop integrated training processes for volunteers.
• Promote healthy community among parents.
• Help develop and maintain all security standards.
• Stay on top of curriculum ordering and evaluation.
• Fulfill pastoral duties including counseling, baptism, communion, and general pastoral care as needed.
• Maintain strong communication and relationship with Direct Report and Lead Pastor to ensure the vision of the Lead Pastor is implemented.

• Time Commitments include : Sundays, Wednesday evenings, and events
• Annual two weeks off paid
