Oversee the development of marketing strategies for the Vacuum Systems product line, which earns annual revenues of $25 million in the U.S. Develop and execute strategic marketing plans. Develop Customization Products (“CUSP’s”) and margins, taking into account existing standard Marathon VTS product specifications, prices and gross-margins. Manage the roll-up of regional marketing forecasts. Present marketing recommendations to customers and to members of the Senior Leadership team concerning our proprietary products. Assess existing and potential markets and pricing strategies. Liaise with Sales team to provide critical product marketing support and with Marketing Communications team to create product collateral. Identify areas of growth within specific customer segments and provide input to Product Management on the internal creation and execution of product road maps.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field, and five years experience managing product sales and marketing; or, in the alternative, no degree and seven years of experience managing product sales and marketing.
Experience, which can be gained concurrently, must include:
5 years experience leading cross-functional sales and marketing initiatives for vacuum based semiconductor manufacturing process equipment.
5 years experience performing strategic marketing for wafer handling automation and semiconductor process tool solutions.
5 years of experience researching market requirements, creating product definitions, defining value propositions, and managing product lifecycles.
5 years of experience analyzing market trends in Semiconductor industry to characterize the competitive landscape; identify target markets; and develop lead generation strategies for product.
5 years of experience performing “Voice of the Customer” analysis.
5 years of experience leading customer account planning and management to achieve profitable revenue growth.
5 years of experience defining product strategy, product roadmaps and Market Requirements Documents (MRD).
5 years of experience developing product pricing strategies and structures, and identifying opportunities for increasing customer and business value.
5 years of experience managing revenue, forecast, backlog and inventory.
Domestic and international travel 10% - 20% of the time.
