Our Fortune 100 Agricultural client is looking to add a NOC Technician to their growing team. This individual will help provide day-to-day technical support for production support problems and troubleshooting issues involving level 1, 2 and 3 incident response services. You will also monitor and troubleshoot job queues, network devices and enterprise hardware. Responsibilities –
· Utilize Tidal to monitor job scheduling
· Address escalated issues, process improvements and efficiencies.
· Works with other teams to resolve issues involving security administration.
· Assists in determining probable cause of issues and resolves the problems
· Perform daily monitoring of the network environment
· Perform technical analysis to identify and resolve network related problems and performance issues
· Research new technologies, recommend enhancements and configuration changes to improve and optimize the network environment
· Interface with users, external vendors, and customers as necessary
Qualifications –
· Associates or Technical degree, or equivalent experience, training, skills and/or certifications in network skills
· 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure support
· 2 years of experience in a network support and operations environment
· Knowledge of Tidal, Orion, Dynatrace, and other monitoring tools
· Knowledge on networking technology and processes such as: routers, switches, access points.
· Able to write ticket responses, escalations, and process documentation.
