JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for providing strategic leadership for the department by working with the Vice Presidents
and fellow executive team members to establish departmental goals, strategies, plans, budgets, and
policies. Responsible for effectively leading the agency marketing services department.
POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Connect with company agents, key accounts ad prospects to build relationships and to convey
information about trends, company philosophy and product/service information to these
constituents. - Exemplify the corporate mission and core competencies expected of an officer of Brotherhood
Mutual. - Execute the corporate operational plans by working collaboratively with other Executive Team
members and ensuring the business strategy is communicated to all within the department. Ensure
strategic and operational actions are completed to achieve desired results. - Provide leadership, development, and oversight to the employees of the agency marketing services
department. - Direct the development of agency marketing activities, collect and evaluate producer and prospect
feedback, and translate results into specific marketing goals and deliverables. - Serve as a senior leader of the marketing department and contribute to the management of the
marketing function through marketing role definition, talent management, and performance
measurement. - Identify and help advance the most important issues to achieve goals. Analyze objectives,
information, and data and recommend actions for prioritization and direction. - Work collaboratively with the Assistant VP–Marketing and Communications to implement customized
marketing plans for American Church Group agencies and our independent agency partners that
integrate with the company’s brand, product, customer retention, and sales goals. - Manage marketing contracts and agreements with agency partners.
- Provide leadership in the development and operation of CRM and marketing automation, prospect
lead development and tracking, and cross-sell and up-sell activities to increase agency marketing
effectiveness. - Work collaboratively with other Marketing teams to design and implement convention strategies
designed to start and nurture prospect and customer relationships. - Recommend annual departmental and revenue center budgets that align with corporate and
departmental goals and manage within those approved budgets. - Complete other projects as assigned.

- A proven track record in developing and managing a marketing program with measurable results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with others in a professional
manner. - Must have strong project management and collaboration skills.
- Must be highly organized, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Must possess broad knowledge of Brotherhood Mutual, ACG, and MinistryWorks company
operations. - Effectively interface with external contacts, Brotherhood Mutual employees, managers, and
department staff members.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
List Degree Requirement, Years' Experience, and Certifications
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree
- Must have at least 8 years of experience in marketing.
- Five years of management experience desired.
- Experience with marketing technologies such as CRM, marketing automation, and social media is desired.
