Brown & Brown's Risk Solutions team, formerly known as Beecher Carlson, is looking for a Legal Intern to join the National Executive Liability Practice in a hybrid capacity, remotely and in New York, NY.
The Legal Intern will work to help expand the Executive Liability Practice client base within the Fortune 1000.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
The National Executive Liability Practice is comprised of experienced and knowledgeable attorneys, brokers, and claims advisers dedicated to identifying risks. Our forward-thinking practice was one of the first to provide a revolutionizing analysis of our clients’ Directors & Officers and Cyber risks. The team works with clients to prevent, mitigate, and finance D&O liability and related governance risks by benchmarking, risk modeling, and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) for Risk Profiles.
Delivering integrated insurance and risk management solutions to some of the largest and most respected companies in the world, Brown & Brown Risk Solutions team aims to create value beyond placing insurance. Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Researching and strategizing on new business opportunities
- Developing marketing collateral including, but not limited to white papers
- Maintain appropriate level of confidentiality
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned by client and brokers needs
- Current enrollment in J.D. program required
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience in areas of insurance, risk management, or securities regulation preferred
