Brown & Brown is seeking a Placement Analyst to join our Commercial Lines team in Tacoma, Washington!
- This is a hybrid position with two days in the office and three days working from home*
- Update and maintain customer and policy information within our customer management system
- Determine the appropriate markets to be approached for assigned accounts
- Directly assist executives and producers in market selections
- Negotiate pricing and coverage terms
- Obtain and analyze quotations and declinations from various insurance companies
- Calculate figures and provide oversight to trace, correct, and adjust errors
- Complete premium rate comparison, coverage comparison, and loss analysis reports
- Prepare high quality and accurate proposals for presentations
- Monitor, identify, and develop new methods, new markets, and new opportunities
- Develop strong working relationships with underwriters and wholesale brokers
- Keep current on marketplace changes and trends
- Maintain appropriate level of confidentially of information processed
- Duties are done independently or in a team environment
- Other duties or special projects may be assigned
- 5 years’ experience in Property & Casualty
- Property & Casualty License
- Familiarity with the appetite, coverage, programs, and guidelines of property & casualty insurance carriers
- Experience using AMS360 or skills to learn software program at an accelerated ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
