Project Manager

POSITION DETAILS:

• Lead assigned capital projects
• Position may periodically be assigned other projects
• Develop estimates, funding documents, schedule, and ongoing forecasts
• Ensure all projects receive adequate process hazard reviews and ORI's and that all recommendations are completed in a timely manner
• Ensure inherent process safety is adhered to on all project designs
• Provide field supervision / support during projects execution
• Maintain projects on budget and schedule
• Ensure all projects meet the operability needs of the customer
• Basic understanding of operating plant environment.
• Understands quality standards as outlined by Client
• Manage Safety Program in alignment with Client Safety guidelines
• Conduct Safety Kickoff Meeting with contractors and operations team prior to start of project execution
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

** THIS POSITION WILL OFFICE IN TAFT, LA **

• B.S., Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred
• (5 ) years' experience in maintenance or engineering disciplines
• Experience supporting small capital projects as well as large cap projects
• Ability to track and report on assigned projects
• Experience utilizing Project Management/Reporting system
• Experience in manufacturing plant operations, maintenance, and capital projects
• Ability to coordinate with all disciplines, construction personnel as well as vendor personnel
• Must be able to lift and carry up to (25) lbs.
• Must be physically able to conduct field trips to review equipment and engage with personnel
