Brown Veterinary Clinic is looking for a manager!
The Manager oversees client and staff scheduling as well as the day to day operations of the hospital. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, self motivated, helpful and detail orientated. The manager must accept responsibility of the entire veterinary team, and mentor the support staff to work efficiently. The manager is responsible for ensuring the Veterinarians and Staff supply the best possible care to our clients and patients.

Emotionally resilient in order to maintain extraordinary customer service during patient euthanasia, emergency situations and client conflict.
Functions:
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the hospital and grounds through delegation to appropriate personnel or the hiring of appropriate contractors.
- Oversee and assist with screening and assembly of veterinary records/ files for active use, storage or disposal.
- Maintain and review veterinary medical records of patients for completeness and accuracy.
- Ensure banking deposits and credit transactions are processed daily.
- Oversee all customer communications. Provide advice and solutions regarding hospital policy, boarding protocols, clinic hours and services.
- Establish guideline exchange of hospital policies, patients’ conditions and cancellation or re-scheduling appointments.
- Direct and perform resolution of customer conflict.
- Coordinate employee information, and submit for processing by Human Resources.
- Oversee and control inventory purchases. Reduce expenditure of inventory when possible and advise inventory manager on purchasing and returns.
- Direct on-the-job training to develop employee skills, mentor and guide the support staff in their performance.
- Make decisions about staffing needs, advancement, re-assignments, hours of work, and changes about support staff.
- Interview and hire support staff to create an organized, respectful, and compassionate team.
- Advise employees of performance requirements and progress, discuss progress during appraisals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $51,655.65 - $65,208.95 per year
