Browne Management Company is an established bookkeeping and accounting firm in Milton with over 35 years of experience. We provide a broad range of bookkeeping, accounting, and tax preparation services to a variety of small businesses and individuals.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
· Data entry
· Reconcile account statements
· Accounts Payable – entering invoices, preparing bills for payment
· Assist with payroll processing – prepare worksheets so payroll can be processed
· Assist with state and city revenue reporting – prepare worksheets so reports can be filed
· Audit, collect and maintain intercompany and client checklists
· Audit, collect and maintain W-9s from vendors
· Assume additional responsibilities and perform special projects as needed or directed
· Some driving required
Skills:
· At least 1 year of bookkeeping experience is preferred.
· Familiarity with accounting principles
· Hands-on experience with QuickBooks desktop
· Strong attention to detail, be organized, able to prioritize and have follow through
· Willingness to learn new processes
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office – especially Excel
· Strong written and verbal communication skills a plus
