An opportunity to work directly with the Firm’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to drive successful outcomes for key initiatives. Responsibilities will include maintaining the project tracker; supporting and collaborating with the CFO and other firm finance leaders on day-to-day coordination of specific projects, process improvements and initiatives. The scope for the Project Coordinator is intentionally broad and will include administrative tasks supporting the CFO as well as independent project coordination.
Responsibilities include:
- Work directly with the Firm’s CFO on executive project coordination, with opportunity to lead projects
- Coordinate with the CFO to ensure successful outcomes for all projects by addressing the following:
- Maintain the finance function’s project tracking portfolio
- Ensure all projects are identified and structured to include project owners, milestones, change management considerations, deliverables and success criteria
- May assist with issue and risk identification and resolution; outlining project objectives; and defining measurement criteria
- Facilitate meetings to review and discuss new and ongoing projects
- Produce communication material to share project progress with key stakeholders
- Actively monitor/coordinate project progress, utilizing project management tools, where appropriate
- Follow-up with various leaders as needed to keep efforts on time and communicate issues/progress
- Provide assistance in securing the resources and support needed to execute each project/process improvement
- Attend various meetings to retain notes of action items and create timelines and follow up plans.
- Administer user surveys to gauge results
- Follow-up upon completion to ensure new tools are fully utilized and process improvements are sustained
- Assist/support the CFO with administrative tasks as needed (e.g., scheduling and limited executive support).
Qualifying experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years of project coordination or equivalent experience
- Ability to maintain a high-performance level working with a fast-paced, action-oriented executive
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Exercises good judgment demonstrates sound decision-making skills and maintains confidentiality
- Ability to work both in a team and independent situations. Flexible and adaptable to changing situations in an evolving environment
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Responsive to client and employees’ inquiries and ability to resolve problems
Brownstein offers a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, profit sharing, and vacation/sick/personal time off. This is a regular, non-exempt position, which pays overtime for hours worked above 40 per week. Hybrid schedule offered. The salary for this role ranges from $50,000 - $60,000.
