What are the responsibilities and job description for the Designer position at BRP?

MAIN ROLES OF THIS POSITION
- Create the technical drawings needed to manufacture new vehicles
- Participate in the development of components and follow up on the production of prototypes
- Collaborate with the team’s designers and engineers on the problem‑solving process
- Developing and maintaining Bills of Material
- Ensuring a smooth transition into production of their system of the vehicle
- Produce follow‑up files to optimize project progress
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Associates Degree or accredited vocational school training course certificate in a related field
- Mechanical aptitude with 3D visualization skills
- Familiar with software programs like Catia V5 and Solidworks
- Familiar with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing standards (ANSI)
- Enjoy finding creative solutions to problems you encounter
- Excellent collaborator and an outstanding team player
- Ability to travel as needed
