IT Business Manager

Vista Defense Technologies is seeking an IT Business Manager This position is a full-time, on-site with occasional telework, 40-hour/week contract position supporting the Virtual Medical Center program co-located at Navy Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD), CA.  The successful applicant will work as part of a team to provide ongoing program support to the Virtual Medical Center and its mission to provide telehealth support across the Defense Health Agency (DHA).  Responsibilities Assist VMC Director and Deputy Director with day-to-day management of schedules and activities. And with tracking progress on individual projects. Coordinate VMC departmental meetings staff meetings and external meetings. Serve as the Senior administrative officer for staff administrative functions. Provide administrative support for VMC staff to facilitate operations. Support may include developing presentations, creating briefing documents, maintaining budgets, staff administrative documentation and updating and document control of Directorate spreadsheets and databases. Draft Executive correspondence to include but not limited to letters, memorandums, policy memorandums, and operational orders. Maintain files and records relating to projects and engagements. Plan and schedule a variety of meetings for the VMC Director and Deputy Director, staff and stakeholders to include teleconferences, conferences, business meeting, or other support activities. Independently consolidate and finalize information for various reports in accordance with established reporting procedures and inform supervisor of important matters and deadlines. Anticipate need for information, gather and summarize information from files and meetings. Qualifications Must be a U.S. citizen Must consent to and be able to pass a Government background investigation (includes finger-printing) Specific Information Technology (IT) experience is preferred. Military Health System (MHS) or DHA IT experience is preferred. Must consent to providing proof of COVID vaccination in accordance with Federal Executive Order 14042 and/or DoD guidance/directives.
