What You'll Be Doing:
- Plans and designs the EV Program and proactively monitors its progress, resolving issues, and initiating appropriate corrective action.
- Identifies and targets potential clients interested in EV charging solutions.
- Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensures all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
- Develops project scopes and objectives and manages communication with all relevant stakeholders.
- Ensures resources availability and allocation.
- Prepares estimates for planning, organizing, and scheduling project work.
- Develops a detailed project plan to track progress.
- Uses appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Measures project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Reports and escalates to management as needed.
- Performs risk management to minimize project risks.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with internal and external clients as well as vendors.
- Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentations.
- Formulates contingency plans and effectively manages risks that may impact cost and time estimates.
- Stays abreast with the latest advancements in EV charging technology and industry standards.
- Ensures all projects adhere to relevant federal, state, and local regulations and codes.
- Assumes additional tasks assigned by senior management which are logically inherent to this position.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management, or equivalent project related experience.
- 5 years' experience as a Project Manager working for an electrical, civil, or general contractor.
- Understanding of electrical installations.
- Strong understanding of electrical vehicle charging technology, hardware, and software, preferred but not required.
- Experience with EV charging, preferred but not required.
- 5 years' experience of commercial Project Management or Field experience, preferred but not required.
- Exceptional time management, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to closely collaborate with other project teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent research, proposal writing, and oral presentation skills.
- Advanced computer skills and proven competency with software such as Microsoft Office, etc.
