Safety Manager
Exact salary will be determined based on experience and/or education.
Duties/Responsibilities
o Inspects facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
o Develops and recommends for implementation of inspection policies and procedures, and schedules of routine inspections.
o Monitoring operational processes and employee activities.
o Training and/or supplying training to supervisors on health and safety standards and best practices.
o Preparing and submitting health, safety, and environmental compliance documents to relevant organizations.
o Keeping abreast of the latest EHS trends, policies, regulations, and best practices.
o Performing Incident investigations and recommends corrective actions and completion of those corrective actions.
o Support onboarding and orientation safety training
o Ensures and maintains all necessary permits for Environmental & Regulatory Compliance.
o Maintain accurate and current records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
o Collaborate with BOI safety director on projects that further develop safety & environmental programs.
o Security management as deemed necessary by the location manager, and regulatory agencies having jurisdiction.
o Other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
o Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred. Any safety certification/qualifications are a plus.
o Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, and Power Point.
o Basic computer skills and internet search capabilities
