Business Development Coordinator

Brunet-García is seeking a Business Development Coordinator prepared to leverage communications knowledge to help create transformative campaigns and educational materials for our private, public and nonprofit customers.
Job Summary
The Business Development Coordinator helps support the growth strategy team in managing and expanding relationships in our target markets. This position aids in researching and vetting new business opportunities, managing contracts both with partners and clients, and responding to RFPs. As time allows, they may also support existing client work within the agency.
Candidate must be a great problem solver, with excellent project management skills, superb written and oral skills, an understanding of marketing communications specific to business development and government contract management strategies. They must be self-motivated, energetic, driven, and resourceful. Proficiency with Excel is a must.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of RFPs to include outlines, timelines, schedules, proposal outlines and budget spreadsheets
- Schedule and help lead attend various business development meetings
- Collaborate with internal teams to kick off contracts post award
- Build and maintain contact database and other files for the new business team
- Assist in the preparation and revision of contracts and sub-agreements
- Coordinate the development of new business creative briefs and communicates with the Creative Team on proposal requests
- Monitor production schedules for timely delivery of business development deliverables
- Review all technical and pricing proposals to ensure they meet all requirements
Requirements & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent command of written and spoken English; Spanish proficiency a plus
- Ability to effectively interface with internal departments, clients, partners and governmental agencies
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Legal Permanent Resident, eligible for government clearance
- Mastery of MS Office software, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to perform research tasks to completion
- A good understanding of the departments and processes of the advertising business
