Job Description:

As a Licensed Dental Assistant at Brush Dental Studio, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice and delivering exceptional patient experiences. You will work closely with our experienced dental professionals to provide chairside assistance, perform sterilization and infection control procedures, and support the overall clinical functions of the practice. A team mindset is an absolute must for this position. We are all working towards a common goal, which means, overall support towards each other is an absolute must!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and instruments, ensuring they are properly sanitized and organized.
  • Greet and prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures, making them feel comfortable and at ease.
  • Take digital x rays, Panorex, CBCT, intraoral and extraoral photographs as required.
  • Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
  • Manage dental supply inventory, restocking as needed and maintaining a well-organized workspace.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) certification in Minnesota.
  • CPR Certification
  • Previous experience as a dental assistant is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Proficiency in taking dental radiographs (X-rays).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
  • Positive and professional attitude.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new technologies and dental practices.
  • Flexible team-player who is willing to support administrative tasks as needed.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
